Use this step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the LIS1441/LIP1450 battery in your Sony PS3 Move Motion Controller.

Necessary Replacement Parts:

• LIS1441/LIP1450 Battery Pack for Sony PS3 Move Motion Controller

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Tools
• Precision #00 Phillips Screwdriver

Note: Above tools are included for FREE when this replacement battery is purchased from mpfproducts.com.

Step 1

• Using the #00 screwdriver, remove the Philips screws from back of the controller.

Carefully detach the rear cover.

Step 2

• The orb of the controller simply lifts right off the assembly. You may choose to remove or not remove the orb at this step depending on your comfort level with the repair.

Step 3

• The battery should be able to be simply disconnected at this point. Gently pull the battery connector out of the socket on the board.

Step 4

• Once this battery is removed, replace with your new 

LIS1441/LIP1450 Battery Pack for Sony PS3 Move Motion Controller

(pictured below) and follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble.
