Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Tool

• Phillips #000 Precision Screwdriver

Step 1

• Turn your device over so the screen is face down on a table.  Use a soft cloth or something similar to lay the tablet on so the screen does not get scratched. Using the Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove the two screws that are located on the backside of the device. 
• Place the screws in a secure spot as you will need them to reassemble your device.

Step 2

• To remove the back cover, slide it to the left away from the side the screws were located on. 
• Remove the cover and place in a secure spot for when you reassemble your device. 

Step 3

• Once the back cover has been removed, locate the battery in the bottom right corner of the device.
• Using a spudger or plastic opening tool, push out the white connector to the battery from its base.

Step 4

• Use a spudger or plastic opening tool to pry around the edges of the battery to loosen and remove it from its slot in the backing.
• If the battery is held in place with adhesive, gently apply upward pressure all around the battery to safely loosen it enough to remove.

  

Once the old battery is removed, replace with your new
