Plantronics CS540 Battery Replacement Instructions:
- Slide off the battery cover and remove it from the headset.
- Pull out the plantronics headset battery from the attachment clip.
- Disconnect the battery connector from the headset.
To install the new battery:
- Plug the replacement plantronics CS540 battery (plantronics p/n 86180-01) to the battery connector.
- Once the CS540 replacement battery is connected, slide it into place.
- Slide the battery cover back on and push it into place.

I get a call back from my client that the battery worked great for 2 days and stopped does not work any more. I took some alcohol and cleaned off the contacts on the charger. These battery's are giving the user an extra day they love them Thanks

Excellent replacement product. Comes packaged individually for each battery.
I bought this for my call center staff, that use it on a daily basis with 8+ hours between recharges, so far there has been no notable issues.
