   Bought this suggested battery, used the tools that came with it and installed the battery.
   It worked, I'm happy and the guy that owns the GPS is happy.
   It's a good deal!

   The battery for my 255 arrived on time, with tools enclosed to ensure an easy and successful installation. My Garmin is now as good as new, wonderful. Thank you MPF for the very clear installation instructions on the internet.

    I absolutely love this item. My Nuvi 200 is an oldie, but definitely a goodie, so I wanted to replace the aging battery that would no longer hold a charge. This kit came in as scheduled on time. It contains everything you need to change out the old battery. The instructions were ok but I watched a video on it just to make sure I don't break it. The old battery came out no problems and the new one went in with no problems. Once replaced you have to let this charge up as it is not charged. It takes a while the first time but works so good when it is done. Gone are the days of it turning off when you turn off your car to get gas. It now holds a charge for 4 or more hours. I don't know how long yet as I have not taken a trip that needed it that long.
