    Step 1

    • Remove the Samsung S-pen Stylus from your tablet.

    Step 2

    • Using one of the plastic opening tools, start where the S-pen was removed and carefully pry up the corner of the tablet.

    Step 3

    • Carefully move and pry around the perimeter of the device with a plastic opening tool to remove the back cover. As you do this, the small plastic clips should release allowing the back to be removed . If the clips do not release carefully apply a bit more pressure until you hear and feel them release - be careful not to exert too much force as you could damage the tablet.

    Step 4

    • Using the #00 screwdriver, remove the 8 screws around the battery and keep in a safe place for when you reassemable your tablet.
    • Once the screws are removed, lift the top left corner of the battery up by the black tab.

Step 5

  • To remove the battery, gently lift up the white battery connector located at the bottom right corner of the battery. You can use a plastic opening tool between the white connector and the board to lift the connector away from the board.  Be careful to not pull the connector by the wires.
