How to Replace the 002529 Battery in your Tapwave Zodiac 1 & 2

Use this step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the 002529 battery in your Tapwave Zodiac 1 & 2 Gaming Console.

Necessary Replacement Parts:

• 002529 New Replacement Battery for Tapwave Zodiac 1 and 2

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Pry Tool
• Precision T5 Torx Screwdriver

Step 1

• Using the T5 Torx screwdriver, remove the 4 screws from the back panel.

  

Step 2

• Insert the plastic opening tool between the front and back panel. Carefully apply downward pressure to separate the back panel.
  

  

Step 3

• Carefully slide the battery out from the gold/brown wired tape. The battery is still connected to the board at this time, take care to not pull or you may damage the connector/connection.
  

  

Step 4

• Using a pair of tweezers, slowly pull the white connector from the its receptor. Grasp at the sides and gently wiggle side to side to release.
  

  

Once the original battery is removed, replace with your
