How to Replace SP4960C3B Battery for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Tablet

Use this detailed step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the SP4960C3B battery in your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" GT-P3100, GT-P3110, GT-P3113 Tablet.

Necessary Replacement Parts:

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Tools
• Precision Phillips #00 Screwdriver

Step 1

• Power off your tablet and remove the SD Card from the SD Card slot.

  

Step 2

• Insert one of the plastic opening tools and carefully pry around the tablet to separate the front and rear panels. There are clips on the back panel you will need to release while you moving around the tablet. You may need to go around the device several times carefully applying force for it to come apart.

  

Step 3

• The battery has a flex cable with a connector (pictured below).  First remove the connector from the board by placing a plastic opening tool under the wires and gently prying it out.
  

  

Step 4

• Next. using the #00 screwdriver, remove the 6 screws around the battery. This should allow for you to remove the battery from the device.
