Step 1

• Insert one of the plastic opening tools at the top between the black plastic casing and the metal rim. Carefully pry around the tablet to separate the clips holding the front and rear panel and continue to pry using the tool along the perimeter of the tablet to separate the back plastic casing from the front assembly panel.

Do not use excessive force as the plastic clips could be easily broken

Step 2

• Gently set the tablet with the LCD screen facing down on a soft surface so you can remove the back casing. Take care to not scratch or damage the LCD screen during this step.
• Grasp the back black casing and lift to separate from the front assembly panel. 
• Once separated, locate the battery and peel up the corner of the white sticker which reads "PULL (HANDS ONLY)" to form a tab with the sticker.

  Step 3 
• Using your thumb and index finger, pinch and pull the tab from the top right to begin to remove the battery from the front panel assembly.  If you experience resistance, you may want to use a plastic opening tool between the battery and panel assembly to aid in lifting and removing the battery. Take care to not pull too hard in an attempt to completely detach the battery as there are cables still connecting the battery to the board. 
• Starting at the bottom left side of the battery, remove the green tape. Place in a safe area to reuse if possible.
• Use a plastic opening tool and place under the battery connector to gently disconnect the battery cable connector from the circuit.

Step 4 

• Lift the battery towards you, away from the front panel and remove from your device. 
• Once the battery is removed, replace with your EB-BT330FBU Replacement Battery
• Simply follow these steps in reverse to reassemble!
  

  

• Insert one of the plastic opening tools between the device front and back panel. Carefully pry around the tablet to separate the front and rear panels. You may need to go around the device several times carefully and evenly applying force for it to separate. Do not use excessive force as there are plastic clips which could be easily broken.

Step 1

• Using one of the plastic opening tools, gently pop off the power button at the top.
• Underneath there is a tamper proof sticker which will need to be removed (PLEASE READ: This step will void your one-year limited warranty. • Using a plastic opening tool, lift up on the power button sensor underneath the sticker to expose the screw.

Step 2

• Locate and remove the screw using the T5 screwdriver.
• Use your hands to slide the rear panel down to free it. Be careful not to pull too hard at this step as the battery is still connected to the board and the two halves are not able to separate yet.

Step 1

• Using the #00 screwdriver, remove the five (5) Philips screws from back of the controller.
  

  

Step 2

• Carefully push the center of the rear cover (between the two analog sticks) and slightly lift up on the lower edge to move it away from the rest of the controller. Some controllers have plastic clips, please check to be sure you do not force clips if present as they may break.

Step 3

• Push the rear cover toward the top of the controller be sure to clear the edge of of the #2 trigger buttons.
• Carefully pull the rear cover away from the controller, being careful to not pop off the #2 trigger buttons.

• Using the #00 screwdriver, remove the four (4) Philips screws from back of the controller. Carefully release the rear panel. Take care when removing the rear panel as there is still a ribbon cable connected from the front to the back at this point.

• The ribbon cable is easy to disconnect, gently tug on cable and it should release. You may choose to remove or not remove the ribbon cable at this step depending on your comfort level with the repair.

Step 1

Power off your iPhone.

Remove the (2) Pentalobe screws located on both sides of the lightning connector. Place the screws in a safe location for reassembly later.

Step 2

Press suction cup to the screen above the home button.

Be sure the suction cup is pressed securely and has a tight seal.

Step 3

Hold the iPhone down with one hand, and pull up on the suction cup so the front panel assembly slightly separates from the back case.

The front panel has a tight fit, so be sure to take your time and apply constant, firm pressure. Using a plastic opening tool, gently pry the back case away (down) while continuing to pull up with the suction cup.

Pull the (home button) end of the front panel away from the rear case, take caution and use the top of the phone as a hinge. Do not try to completely remove the front panel from the rear. There are clips that hold the front panel to the back case so you may need to use the suction cup along with the plastic opening tool to free the clips from the front panel.

There are several cables attached at the top of the phone, only open the phone enough so you can disconnect the cables.

Step 4

Pull the plastic nub to release the seal on the suction cup and remove the suction cup.

During the next few steps, keep the front panel of the phone supported at a 90° angle until the step where you remove the front panel assembly.

Lift the home button end of the front upwards to access to the connectors near the top of the phone.

Remove the (2) Phillips screws which secure the metal battery connector bracket to the logic board and place in a safe area for reassembly later.

Use a flat edge of a plastic opening tool to pry the battery connector up and off the logic board.

Step 10 

Remove the cable bracket from the logic board and place in a safe area for reassembly later.

Step 11 

Use a plastic opening tool to pry upward and disconnect the cable connector for the front the front facing camera and sensor. Take care to only pry up on the connector and not the socket.

Use a plastic opening tool to disconnect the LCD cable connector. The LCD & Digitizer connectors are on the same cable assembly. Double check both cables are disconnected before removing the display.

Step 13 

Remove the front panel from the rear.

Use the tip of a plastic opening tool and run it between the battery and headphone jack so the battery adhesive tab unfolds.

Step 15 

Pull the battery adhesive tab away from the phone.

Cut the black part of the battery adhesive tab between the 2 white strips so it separates them.

Keeping the strips as flat and unwrinkled as possible follow the below steps:

Slowly pull one side of the battery adhesive strip away from the battery toward the bottom of the phone. 

Use constant and steady pressure so the strip slips out from between the battery and the rear case. 

Guide the strip carefully around the corner of the battery and up the side. Take care to not snag it on any of the phone components.

Repeat the same actions with the second strip of adhesive.

• Insert one of the plastic opening tools gently into the outer frame surrounding the SD card slot and carefully pry in an upward motion to create separation in the front and rear panels.

• Continue carefully sliding and prying around the tablet with a plastic opening tool to separate the front panel from the back panel. 
• There are clips around the device you will release and you will hear a dislocating sound as they are disconnected.

1. First note where each of the buttons on the Golf Buddy are positioned as they will most likely come off during the replacement process and you will need to put each one back in the right spot. You can try holding them in with a finger to keep them from coming off.
2. Remove the #00 Phillips screw on the side of the unit (next to the on/off switch). Place the screw in a safe location for reassembly later.
   
3. Next, use a plastic pry tool to pry around the seam. Do not take the two halves of the case apart completely (open the case very carefully like you would a clamshell, from the bottom side opening upwards). The screen is attached to the motherboard by a ribbon cable near the top. If it does become detached, it can be reattached later, but it's easier if you leave it plugged in.
4. Carefully lift the motherboard from the back half of the case. You will see the OEM battery located underneath.
5. Unplug and remove the OEM battery. Make sure to unplug it without removing the socket. (Look at the connector of the new battery to see what the plug should look like. That is the plug that unplugs from the socket.)
6. Plug in and install the new Golf Buddy Voice Battery.
7. Put the motherboard back into place while making sure not to crimp the wires.
8. Close the Golf Buddy back up, making sure not to crimp the screen ribbon cable. Reinstall the buttons if they came loose.
9. Replace the phillips screw on the side of the unit.
10. Charge the battery overnight for 6-8 hours before first use
11. Play Golf!
