MX1000 Battery Replacement Instructions.

1. Remove the four screws located on the bottom of the mouse. Two of the screws are hidden under the rear mouse “feet” and the other two are located toward the front under the Logitech sticker (logitech sticker and feet will need to be temporarily peeled off for this replacement).
2. The top of the mouse should now easily come off exposing the mainboard. There is a flex cable and battery connector attached to the mainboard that must be removed at this point.
3. The battery is located in the top part of the mouse in a small plastic enclosure. It is secured by two screws at the top of the battery cover. Remove these two screws and the battery will come right out.
4. Switch out the battery with our replacement battery . You can stick the battery to the unit with some double sided sticky tape to keep it firm if desired.
5. Reverse Instructions for mouse re-assembly.
