Use this detailed step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the NOOKCOLOR 6027B0090501 Battery for Barnes & Noble NOOK Tablet BNTV250.

Step 1
- Turn your Nook Tablet over so the screen is face down on your table.

Step 2
- In
the bottom right corner on the back, lift up the flap. If a memory card
is present here - remove it & store in safe place.
- Remove the tape under the flap with either your fingers or a plastic opening tool.
- Remove the (2) screws that are located under the tape with the T5 Torx Screwdriver.

Step 3
- Use a plastic opening tool to
wedge between the front panel and back. You could also use a flat head
screwdriver here, however you could scratch or damage your Nook easily.
- Carefully lever the wedge until the back separates from the rest of of the Nook.

- Using the T5 Torx screwdriver, locate and unscrew the (10) screws around the edge of the silver backing on the Nook.

Step 6
Using
a plastic opening tool (or again, you could use flat head screwdriver)
to carefully pry the front casing apart from the silver lining.



Step 7
- Locate the foam pad (pictured first below)
- Gently lift up on the foam pad
- Insert a plastic opening tool and apply light pressure to detach the cord connector from the motherboard.
- Repeat this again to detach power connector and volume connector, these are both located under the other 2 foam pads.


Step 8
- After all cords have been disconnected the mother board should be loose.
- Use your hands to gently pull the motherboard away from the metal backing.
Step 9
Safely place the motherboard aside, and working with the metal backing containing the battery
- Use a plastic opening tool to pry around the edges of the battery to loosen and remove it from its slot in the metal backing.
- The
battery is held in place with adhesive, gently apply upward pressure
all around the battery to safely loosen it enough to remove.
- When you pick the battery up to remove it, you will need to free the cords in the upper left corner by sliding it out




Once the old battery is removed, replace with your
NOOKCOLOR 6027B0090501 Replacement Battery For Nook Tablet
(pictured
below) and follow steps in reverse order to reassemble. If necessary,
use adhesive when you insert the new replacement battery to ensure it is
held firmly in place.
