Battery in a Barnes & Noble Nook Color BNTV250

Necessary Replacement Parts:

• New 6027B0090501 Replacement Battery For Nook Color

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Plastic Opening Tools

• T5 Torx Screwdriver

Note: Above tools are included for FREE when this replacement battery is purchased from MPFProducts.com

Step 1

• Locate and remove the 2 screws in the bottom right corner of the device back using the T5 Torx Screwdriver.
  

  

Step 2

• Using one of the plastic opening tools, pry around the back cover of the device until the cover easily detaches.
  

  

Step 3

• Using the T5 Torx Screwdriver, locate and remove the (10) screws around the perimeter of the device. Keep them in a safe place as you will use them when you reassemble your Nook.

Step 4 

Use one of the plastic opening tools to carefully pry around and remove the front panel of the device. There will still be wires connected at this step, take care to not pull too hard as to damage or break the wires.

Step 5 

• Using a plastic opening tool, lift up on the connectors to disconnect them from the board.

Step 6 

• Locate and remove the tape holding the wiring to the battery. Remove the tape using a plastic opening tool.

Step 7 

• On the back side of the middle panel, use a plastic opening tool to pry around the battery until it is loose. The battery is typically glued down so you may need to use upward pressure to release it.

Step 8 

• Slide the connecting wire through the opening of where the battery was placed.

Once the old battery is removed, replace with your

(pictured below) and follow steps in reverse order to reassemble.

Check to be sure new battery is firmly in place - apply adhesive if necessary.
