How to Replace the T4000E Battery in Your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Tablet

Use this detailed step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the battery in your Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0

Step 1

  • Using one of the plastic opening tools, carefully insert the prying end in between the glass digitizer and the silver frame from the front of the device.


Step 2

  • Carefully move around the perimeter of the device with a plastic opening tool. As you do this, the small plastic clips should release allowing the back to be removed . If the clips do not release carefully apply a bit more pressure until you hear and feel them release be careful not to exert too much force as you could damage the tablet.


Step 3

  • Using the #00 screwdriver, remove the 4 screws around the battery as pictured below. 
  • Once the screws are removed, use either a plastic opening tool or a pair of tweezers to pull up the battery connector. Pull directly up and the connector should release.
  • To remove the battery gently lift the battery from the inside edge. The battery is hinged on the outside edge by two plastic protrusions which fit into the plastic frame where the battery is located.

Step 4

Once the original battery is removed, replace with your
