How to Replace the EB-BT530FBU Battery in Your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

Use this detailed step-by-step repair guide to help you replace the battery in your Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

Necessary Replacement Parts:

• EB-BT530FBU New Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

Necessary Replacement Tools:

• Precision Small Phillips #00 Screwdriver
• Plastic Opening Tools

Note: Above tools are included for FREE when this replacement battery is purchased from mpfproducts.com.

Step 1

• Begin in the middle of the left side of the tablet and insert a plastic opening tool between the rear panel and the front panel.
• Check the tool to be sure the small arrow on the prying tool is pointed toward the backside of the Tab.

Step 2

• Use the plastic pry tool carefully run it along the edge and around the perimeter to pry apart the tablet and separate the front and back. Careful not to push or pull too hard with the tool, you want gently to lift up and down around the Tab until it is easy to separate.

Step 3

• Carefully remove the tape that is covering the cable connectors and place to the side. You will reuse this tape.
• Gently lift the connector latches (under where the tape was) to disconnect the 3 ribbon cables.

  

Step 4

• Locate and remove the four screws using the small Phillips #00 Screwdriver.
• Place the screws in a safe area.

Step 5

• Disconnect the battery connector from the board.
• Lift the edge of the battery with your finger or a plastic opening tool.
• Remove and gently lift up each corner of the battery until you are able to remove it from the Tab.

Once the old battery is removed, replace with your new
